The tool symmedia SP / 1 Remote Service includes a complete remote service infrastructure for machine manufacturers and operators which can be easily integrated into existing structures and processes. The ticket system ensures that service requests are first collected, centralized and then organized accordingly. A future-proof solution is provided to the user through a secure VPN connection, the conference centre and a summary of the key indicators.
Maintenance
With symmedia SP / 1 Maintenance, local and central maintenance plans can be created, which retrieve the current maintenance status of all connected machines. At the same time, the tool is an information channel for on-demand services, made possible through the constant display of all maintenance vulnerabilities and updates. Machine manufacturers are therefore able to provide individual maintenance concepts on time for their customers.
Parts
symmedia SP / 1 Parts is symmedia’s virtual spare parts shop. Worn parts can be directly identified, selected and ordered online, if required. The virtual spare parts tool is easy to use, confirming availability, prices and delivery times all at the same time. The Parts Agent has an insight into all service activities. Another advantage: Based on historical machine data, the Parts Agent proposes which supplies or services are most likely to be needed in the near future. With this information the manufacturers increase not only their spare parts business but also the overall performance significantly.
Monitoring
symmedia SP / 1 Monitoring helps its users to monitor current machine states - not only locally but also worldwide. All acquired monitoring data are analyzed and evaluated. With the information collated reports can be compiled to improve productivity or do maintenance predictions. On the basis of the monitoring data and in connection with the Remote Service, proactive troubleshooting can be performed. It is with this machine and the data that it collects that manufacturers are able to offer their customers the appropriate service and optimum support towards their production processes.
